1 Mar 2005 - Creepy Crawlies Day

On Tuesday 1st March 2005, Dagnall Under Fives experienced the world of 'Creepy Crawlies'. Mark and Hazel were kind enough to bring in a selection of Reptile and Amphibians which included Frogs, Toads, Lizards and Snakes. All the children and staff were given the opportunity to look at, handle and receive information about these lovable creatures.
Most of the children were very brave and either stroked or held the animals. Also some of the staff and parents cured their phobias by also holding Lizards and Snakes including a 5ft Boa Constrictor.
Unfortunately there were no spiders for Mary to overcome her fear. Better luck next time Mary!
